Leslie J. Flores

Leslie J. Flores is a dedicated Special Education Teacher at the NYC Department of Education since September 2016, providing instruction in earth science, living environment, and other subjects while developing IEPs that cater to students' academic and socioemotional needs. In addition to current roles as a MƒA Master Teacher and advisor for student clubs, Leslie has a background as a Special Education Teaching Fellow and Program Coordinator, enhancing educational programs and providing support to students and families. Leslie holds several degrees, including a Master of Science in Science Education and a Graduate Certificate in Earth Science from Montana State University, as well as a Master’s in Education focused on teaching urban adolescents with disabilities from Long Island University.
