Mahitha Kalyani

Mahitha Kalyani is a skilled UX Designer with a strong background in user experience and interface design. Currently employed at MathWorks since October 2021, Mahitha has previously held positions as a UI/UX Designer at the American Chemical Society and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland. Notable projects include a capstone project as a Product Designer at the Library of Congress, where Mahitha focused on improving the discovery of audio/video media through user research and prototype development. Additional experience includes roles as a UX Associate at Mindgrub, User Experience Designer & Researcher at the University of Maryland, Software Design Engineer at Newgen Software, Teaching Assistant for design courses at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, and a Software Developer Intern at Media Lab Asia. Mahitha holds a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi.
