Rafi Carmeli

Rafi Carmeli is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in strategic finance, investment banking, and corporate governance. Currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Finance at Matillion since November 2023, Rafi has held prominent board member positions at Home365 Property Management, Zoomin, and Bizzabo, focusing on technology-enabled solutions and enterprise software. As a General Partner at Viola Growth, Rafi specializes in sourcing, diligence, and execution of investments in technology and FinTech sectors, while guiding management teams through financial decision-making and capital raising processes. Previously, Rafi was a Senior Vice President at Goldman Sachs, leading the Emerging FinTech practice and executing numerous transactions in M&A, equity, and debt. Rafi's foundational work in corporate law and venture capital has been complemented by an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, alongside a diverse educational background in law and economics. Additionally, Rafi is the founder and chairman of Heseg, a nonprofit organization aimed at reducing social gaps in Israel through educational support for underprivileged families.
