Drew Defendorf

Drew Defendorf, PE, is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in civil engineering and project oversight. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Matrix Design Group, Inc. since November 2024, Drew specializes in developing project work plans and scopes of work. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Westwood Professional Services from June 2017 to October 2024, where Drew managed projects from inception to completion, prepared proposals and contracts, and coordinated schedules for multiple concurrent projects while ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Earlier roles included Assistant Project Manager and Graduate Engineer, with responsibilities ranging from quality control of civil plans to preparing design documents for various civil systems. Drew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, obtained in 2017.
