Nick Auer

Nick Auer is an experienced theater and operations professional currently serving as Operations Manager at MATTE Projects, overseeing the HERO NYC venue for immersive experiences in Rockefeller Center since July 2024. Auer has a strong background in theater production, co-founding the Brouhaha Theatre Project in 2015 and co-directing several innovative performances in unique locations. Previous roles include Production Manager at Emursive Productions, where Auer managed the acclaimed Sleep No More at the McKittrick Hotel, and Associate Director at The Builders Association, contributing to multimedia productions. Auer's diverse experience also encompasses teaching at Ethical Culture Fieldston School and involvement with various theater companies, showcasing expertise in immersive experiences, production management, and artistic direction. Auer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from Bates College.
