Mohammad Aflah Khan

Mohammad Aflah Khan is a Research Software Engineer at Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, focusing on analyzing memorization in large language models (LLMs) and the impact of parameter-efficient fine-tuning methods. Aflah has contributed significantly to various research projects, including submissions to prominent conferences such as ICML and ICLR. Previously, Aflah worked as an Open Source Researcher at EleutherAI, contributing to the Pythia Model Suite and developing a taxonomy for memorization in language models. Additional experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at IIIT-Delhi, a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, and various teaching assistant positions in topics such as Machine Learning and Data Structures & Algorithms.
