Shubham Basu

Shubham Basu is a Senior Bioinformatician at Mayo Clinic since December 2021, having previously served as a Bioinformatician at Mayo Clinic Rochester from March 2018 to December 2021. Shubham's career in research began as a Research Assistant at the University of Georgia from January 2015 to December 2017, where a novel pipeline for detecting assembly artifacts in genome sequences was developed. Shubham has also held various teaching assistant positions focused on biological data analysis and microbiology at the University of Georgia, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and the University of Nottingham. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics from The University of Georgia, a Master’s Degree in Microbiology from University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Master’s Degree in Molecular Medical Microbiology from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from West Bengal University of Technology.
