Derek Sutherland

Derek Sutherland is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the finance and risk management sectors. Currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors and Interim Chief Executive Officer at MCAN Mortgage Corporation, Derek has held various leadership positions within the company since 2004. As a co-founder of Canadazil Capital Inc. since 2016, Derek specializes in risk advisory and transaction due diligence. Prior professional experience includes a role as Associate at KPMG, where Derek worked in corporate finance and audit practices from 1997 to 2002. Derek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from McMaster University.
