Ricky Thomas

Ricky Thomas has a diverse professional background spanning several roles in education and coaching. Currently serving as Dean of Student Life and Dean of Community & Brotherhood at McCallie School since August 2018, Ricky has previously worked as a football coach at the University of Nevada, Reno from 2013 to 2017, as well as an NFL coach for the Indianapolis Colts from 2002 to 2012 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1997 to 2002. Ricky's career began at McCallie School as a teacher from 1992 to 1996 and included a stint as an academic advisor at The University of Alabama from 1989 to 1992. Ricky holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of Alabama and a Master's degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
