Ruairí Roantree

Ruairí Roantree is an Associate specializing in Financial Regulation and FinTech at McCann FitzGerald LLP since September 2018, having previously completed trainee rotations in various legal sectors including Financial Regulation, EU & Competition, Corporate Banking, and Life Sciences Litigation. Prior experience includes serving as a Copy Editor for the Irish Journal of European Law at the Irish Society for European Law, a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission's Directorate General for Health and Food Safety, and an intern at Brödermann Jahn focused on cross-border transactions and disputes. Ruairí holds an LL.M. in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe, a Bachelor of Laws and German LL.B. from Trinity College Dublin, and has completed a Certificate in Technology Law and the Professional Practice Course at the Law Society of Ireland, in addition to participating in the Erasmus Programme at the University of Tübingen.
