Norman Oliver

Dr. Oliver is the former State Health Commissioner at the Virginia Department of Health (2018-2022). As the head of the VDH, Dr. Oliver led the Commonwealth of Virginia’s COVID-19 pandemic response.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology), from Excelsior College, Albany, NY, a Masters in Anthropology, from Case Western Reserve University, a Doctor of Medicine, from Case Western Reserve University and a Residency, the Department of Family Medicine, University Hospital of Cleveland.
