Joris Haesaerts

Joris Haesaerts is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and project management across various sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at McDermott International, Ltd. since May 2018, Joris has held several senior director roles within the company, including overseeing engineering efforts in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the EARC region. Previously, Joris worked at CB&I from January 2008 to May 2018, where responsibilities included Director of Engineering and leading the Plant Design department, emphasizing expertise in civil, structural, and offshore design. Earlier experience includes civil structural engineering roles at ABB Lummus Global BV and project leadership at Bolckmans NV. Joris holds multiple engineering degrees from Hogeschool Antwerpen and the European Institute for Industrial Leadership.
