Jorge Marquez

Jorge Marquez, BSc, MEng, currently serves as Proposals Team Lead at McElhanney since February 2023. Prior to this role, Jorge held various positions at Ausenco from February 2019 to February 2023, including Proposals Lead for Sustainability in North America and Proposals Manager for North America Minerals & Metals. Jorge also worked as a Project Coordinator for Minerals and Metals and gained experience as a Capital Project Risk Analyst and Management Consultant at Independent Project Analysis from April 2010 to August 2017. Earlier in the career, Jorge was a Procurement Analyst at ExxonMobil from September 2004 to May 2008. Jorge's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Mining Engineering with a focus on Economics and Finance from The University of British Columbia, an MBA with a specialization in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Positivo.
