Ankit Upadhyay

Ankit Upadhyay is an accomplished leader in business transformation and operations, currently serving as the Head of Business Transformation for Shopee Thailand and formerly as the Head of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Shopee India and Thailand, respectively. Ankit is also an active angel investor, focusing on mentoring early-stage technology startups, and serves as a Venture Partner at Venture Catalysts, facilitating investments and strategic support for startups in the Indo-Thai corridor. Additionally, Ankit holds the position of Venture Expert Partner and Mentor at Beams Fintech Fund, dedicating efforts to foster the growth of future fintech leaders. Prior roles include management consulting at McKinsey & Company, directorial positions in industrial engineering at UTAC, and project management at The MAX Group and SanDisk®. Ankit's educational background includes advanced project management from Stanford University and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from San Jose State University, complemented by an Associate degree from Foothill College.
