Jim Oatman

Jim Oatman is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in healthcare consulting and analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company since August 2020, Jim advises on matters related to the Affordable Care Act and healthcare reform. Previously, as a Solution Partner and Senior Vice-President within McKinsey, Jim led teams focusing on health actuarial analytics and product development for healthcare payors. Jim's prior roles include significant leadership positions at WellPoint and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, overseeing individual business operations and actuarial functions. With a strong educational background, Jim holds an FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries, an MBA from McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Mathematics in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo.
