Shanelle Haile, PhD, is a consultant at McKinsey & Company since November 2023, with a strong background in social inequality, sociology of race, and international migration. Previously a doctoral candidate and research fellow at Brown University from September 2017 to October 2023, Shanelle also served as a research editor for the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School from August 2021 to December 2022. Prior experience includes strategic advisor for diaspora engagement and country development officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development from December 2012 to June 2017, as well as a grant management/evaluation specialist at the U.S. Department of Justice from January 2009 to December 2012.
