Dana Rushak

Dana Rushak is a seasoned professional in development and program coordination, currently serving as a Senior Development Officer for both the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Humanities at McMaster University since October 2022. Prior to this role, Dana held positions as a Development Officer for Major Gifts at St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation and Program Coordinator at Kids Play International. Previous experience includes Development Coordinator for Major Gifts and Development Assistant & Grant Writer at St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation and The Carpenter Hospice, respectively, along with organizational and outreach roles at GreenPAC and Canadian Red Cross. Dana's early career featured a focus on marine and coastal conservation with Sustainable Grenadines Inc. Educational qualifications include a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from York University and an Honours Graduate Certificate in International Development and Management from Humber College.
