Evelyn Pau, PhD, serves as Operating Principal at Amplitude Ventures, leading venture capital efforts focused on precision medicine with over $500 million in assets under management. In addition to this role, Evelyn is a Guest Lecturer at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, where engagement across multiple departments inspires students in venture creation and entrepreneurship. As a Mentor at the Health Innovation Hub, guidance is provided to healthcare-focused startups, particularly supporting women entrepreneurs. Evelyn contributes to McMaster University as an Investment Committee Member for the McMaster Seed Fund, evaluating innovative startups emerging from research. Previously, leadership roles at Bloom Burton & Co. and Medicenna Therapeutics Corp. included managing investment banking efforts and external collaborations in the biotech sector, while board membership at McMaster Innovation Park helped foster research and innovation.
