Sahand Ensafi

Sahand Ensafi serves as the Chair of Clinical Rotations and Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University, overseeing clerkship scheduling and mentoring within the PA Program. In addition to these roles, Sahand is the Emergency Preparedness Medical Lead at University Health Network, focusing on training staff for emergency situations, and an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, responsible for patient care in a high-volume emergency department. Moreover, Sahand holds a lecturer position at the University of Toronto's Department of Family and Community Medicine, where responsibilities include teaching clinical skills and supervising PA students. Additional experience includes leadership roles in the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants, contributing to the advancement of the PA profession in Ontario. Sahand has a diverse clinical background through multiple clerkship rotations and holds an MHSc in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Health Sciences from McMaster University.
