François Desfossés

Francois Desfosses is an experienced IT professional specializing in systems administration with a focus on Linux and cloud computing. Currently serving as an AWS Systems Administrator at mdf commerce since June 2021, Francois manages complex systems involving over 900 Linux servers, including AWS environments and various other platforms. Previous roles include Senior Linux System Administrator positions at Morgan Stanley and Lowe's Canada, where responsibilities encompassed server management, monitoring, and troubleshooting across substantial server infrastructures in both VMWare and Azure environments. Francois has also worked at TC Transcontinental, Silanis Technology, Domtar, Hydro Québec, CGI, and the Canadian Space Agency, accumulating extensive experience in server administration, security, performance management, and documentation throughout a diverse career that began after earning an Analyst Programmer degree from CDI College.
