Monisha Purwar

Monisha Purwar is an experienced consultant and legal professional with a strong background in legislative and technological developments, online trust and safety, and contract analysis. Monisha's recent role at CyberPeace Foundation involved managing a team to address deepfake technology across multiple countries. Prior to that, at Nexus Horizon, intelligence was gathered to produce informative newsletters. Monisha has held positions at prominent organizations such as the Government of India, the Delhi High Court, and EY, where various agreements and compliance measures were analyzed. Additionally, Monisha contributed to legal journalism and participated in legal aid efforts, co-founding a prison project to assist undertrial prisoners. Monisha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University and is currently pursuing a PGP in Business Administration and Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore.
