Phil Wingate

Phil Wingate is an experienced IT Analyst currently working at Medavie Blue Cross since August 2010, specializing in Mainframe, SOA, Java, and RUP technologies. Previously, Phil served as an Advanced Systems Engineer at ACS from January 2007 to March 2009, focusing on the analysis, design, and deployment of enhancements for Service Parts Operations, while also optimizing programs and maintaining documentation. At EDS, from January 1995 to January 2007, Phil contributed to projects such as the CCMFsi for General Motors and the TMS, and provided after-hours support for major systems. Phil's career began as a Programmer Analyst at Confederation Life Insurance from January 1985 to January 1995, where essential enhancements to IMS COBOL applications were implemented. Phil holds a Computer Science degree from Ryerson University and has also attended Concordia.
