Joseph Belliveau

Joseph Belliveau currently serves as the Executive Director at MedGlobal, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Joseph was the Executive Director for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Canada from October 2017 to February 2024, where leadership resulted in organizational growth to 140 employees and a revenue increase to $100 million. Prior experience includes serving as Program Director for Humanitarian Access and Negotiations at Conflict Dynamics International, where program development supported humanitarian efforts in conflict areas. Joseph's extensive background with Médecins Sans Frontières involved managing operations, security, and resources in multiple countries under challenging conditions for over a decade. Earlier in Joseph’s career, supervision of tree planting and silviculture contracts was undertaken at Spectrum Resource Group. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Relations and Anthropology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Anthropology from McGill University.
