Amy Drendel

Amy Drendel serves as the Division Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and a Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where involvement has spanned from Assistant Professor to Interim Section Chief. In addition, Amy Drendel held the role of Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Children's Wisconsin from July 2016 to February 2023. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Midwestern University, a BS in Biology from Tulane University, a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship, and an MS in Epidemiology from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Further education includes an MS in Healthcare Leadership and Management from The University of Texas at Dallas. Training included roles as a Chief Resident in Pediatrics and Resident in Pediatrics at Rush University, as well as a Rotating Osteopathic Internship at St. Joseph Community Hospital.
