Savita Potarazu

Savita Potarazu, MD MPH, is an accomplished OBGYN Resident Physician at The George Washington University, beginning in June 2024. Simultaneously, Savita serves as an Executive Committee Member for the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health and recently held the position of Medical Working Group Co-Chair at The Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education. Additional leadership roles include advisory committee membership with the Association of American Medical Colleges and Executive Chair of Medical Students For a Sustainable Future, where strategic planning for sustainability initiatives is conducted. Savita's background also includes advocacy work with Physicians for Social Responsibility and a leadership role as a Cohort Leader at LearnServe International. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health from the Milken Institute School of Public Health.
