Edward Fonvielle

Edward Fonvielle, PhD, MHA, MBA, currently serves in the Hospital Patient Accounting / Revenue Systems department at the Medical University of South Carolina, having joined the organization in February 2014. In addition to this role, Edward is a Credentialed Trainer for the Office of Chief Information Officer, focusing on training users of the Epic System for electronic medical records and hospital accounting. Edward's extensive experience includes a decade of evaluating NCAA basketball officials for the Southern Conference, managing operations as General Manager at Single Smile Cafe, and providing strategic consulting at Kingston International Tactical Systems, Inc. Edward holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel, a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Duke University.
