Hema Jeaven Makan

Hema Jeaven Makan is an experienced transformation manager currently at Mediclinic since July 2017, where Hema has also served as a transformation consultant. Prior to this role, Hema worked at WNS Global Services SA from July 2011 to July 2017, holding positions as group human resources manager and deputy manager of human resources. Hema's career began at BEE Empowered and Labour Consultancy, where Hema was a verification manager and senior analyst, and later a junior verification analyst and sales consultant, from April 2007 to June 2011. Hema holds an Honours degree in industrial and organisational psychology from the University of South Africa, a management development programme in economic empowerment from Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership, a postgraduate qualification in management practice and business improvement from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town, focusing on statistics, economics, marketing, and management studies.
