Luiz Felipe Barreto

Luiz Felipe Barreto is an experienced procurement and supply chain professional with a robust background in sourcing excellence and procurement management. Currently serving as the Director of Sourcing Excellence at Mediq Nederland since June 2024, Luiz has previously held prominent roles including Global Head of Procurement Excellence and Head of Procurement for JDE Brazil from October 2018 to May 2024. Luiz's career includes significant positions at Diageo from July 2009 to October 2018, overseeing procurement for Paraguay, Uruguay, and Brazil, as well as earlier experience in packaging procurement at Boehringer Ingelheim and supply management at Unilever. Luiz holds an Executive MBA from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a graduate degree in Production Engineering from Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia.
