Margie Peterson

Margie Peterson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, writing, and community service. As a Primary Research Specialist at Amherst H. Wilder Foundation since July 1999, Margie has developed a robust skill set while also contributing as a Writer for Medium since January 2020. Previous roles include Library Clerk at Washington County Library from May 2006 to May 2015 and Freelance Yoga Instructor at Phalen Recreation Center from June 2011 to December 2013, holding a 200-hour RYT certification. Margie's early career includes serving as an Archivist at Meagher & Geer, PLLP, where document management for trial preparation took precedence, and as a Bustle Queen at The Wedding Shoppe, responsible for intricate hand sewing. Margie holds a BA in Theater, History, and African Studies from the University of Minnesota, as well as multiple degrees in Screenwriting from Minneapolis College, and a yoga instructor certification from Saint Paul College.
