Ovidiu Fer

Ovidiu Fer is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and advisory roles. Since January 2017, Ovidiu serves as Managing Director at Alpha Quest Funds and has held the position of Advisory Board Member at GapMinder Venture Partners since August 2018. Additionally, Ovidiu has been an Independent Non-Executive Director at MedLife SA since December 2020. Prior experience includes roles as an Investment Committee Member at IJC Funds SICAV plc, External Advisor to Elliott Advisors, and Equity Analyst at Wood& Company, where Ovidiu contributed to the firm's recognition as the top Central Eastern European research team in 2013. Early in the career, Ovidiu worked as a Research Analyst at KTD Invest. Ovidiu's academic qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Academia de Studii Economice din București, complemented by a strategy course at Harvard Business School.
