Sima Patel

Sima Patel is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician with a comprehensive background in outpatient care and rehabilitation. Currently employed at medrina since October 2021, Sima specializes in optimizing rehabilitation for patients in subacute care facilities. Previous roles include Supervising MD at Lightyear Health and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician at TeleMed2U, alongside time as an Attending Physician at Kaiser Permanente, where Sima managed various procedures and chronic pain treatment. Sima completed residency at the University of Minnesota and has experience in medical writing and community engagement through volunteer work at St. George's University and The Cyrenians. Sima holds a Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC San Diego.
