The journey began in 1974, a visionary and entrepreneur Mr. C. Subramaniam, laid the foundation of “Mehala Machinery Mart”, a small sewing machine repair shop. A humble beginning has now grown to be a customer’s trustworthy company with a reputation.

With the motto “Committed to Customer Delight”, Mehala has strived to beat customer expectations, which has steered the company to emerge as a leading technology and solution provider in its field. We provide diversified technology and manufacturing solutions for Garment Manufacturing, Composites, Technical Textiles and Automotive Industry.

Mehala is the only PAN India garment machinery distributor with ISO 9001:2015 certification, having also established India’s largest sewing machine service center. Mehala is the single largest marketer of industrial sewing machines in India, apart from developing many indigenous products for the Garment & Textile Industry.

Mehala’s network is spread across the country with 19 company-operated branches and a network of over 400 dealers, which demonstrates our wide reach and vast support to the market. Our wings have also spread overseas with operations in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Africa.
