Michael Efrat

Michael Efrat is a Legal Associate at Meitar | Law Offices in the Tax Department since September 2021, following a role as a Legal Intern in the same department. Additionally, Michael serves as a Teaching Assistant at Reichman University for courses in Tax Law and The Basics of Judging. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant position at the University of Oxford and at Reichman University, as well as work as an Economy Analyst and Policy Researcher at the Bank of Israel, focusing on payment systems innovation and regulation. Michael also has experience as a Data Analyst at BYON IT Solutions and held various leadership roles in the Israeli Navy, including Tactical Officer and Head of the Submarine Division. Michael holds a Master's degree in Financial Economy and a Bachelor of Laws from Reichman University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in multidisciplinary studies from the University of Haifa and a background from the Israeli Naval Academy.
