Leigh Hocking

Leigh Hocking’s background is in management and human resources consulting, and corporate governance; fields in which he has over 25 years of experience. He is a director and founder of a specialist management consulting firm that specialises in the human resources aspects of major organisational change, mergers and acquisitions and broad human resources services. In those roles, Leigh has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors in industries as diverse as utilities and infrastructure, mining, energy, transport, manufacturing, defence, emergency services and higher education.

Leigh was formerly Chair of Rural Ambulance Victoria and later served on the board of Ambulance Victoria. He was Deputy Chair of Westernport Water Corporation and was formerly a director of Northern Health.

Leigh has served on the boards of several non-for-profit health sector organisations including Reconnexion, an organisation that provided counselling and other services to people suffering tranquiliser dependency and as Chair of YEAH (Youth Empowerment Against HIV), a youth focused sexual health organisation.

Leigh is a graduate of Monash University and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Hocking was appointed to the Board in July 2019.
