Sharon Beesley

Sharon Beesley, LCSW, currently serves as a Therapist at MellaHealth since September 2021. Previously, Sharon held the position of Palliative Care Social Worker at Bridgeport Hospital from July 2019 to September 2021. Experience also includes working as a School Social Worker at LEARN, where responsibilities involved facilitating Wyman’s Teen Outreach Program and providing direct services to at-risk students. Prior internships were completed at Calvary Hospital, where evidence-based psychotherapy and client assessments were conducted, and at Mott Haven Academy Charter School, focusing on supporting elementary students through play therapy and advocacy. Sharon earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and has a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, along with an Associate's Degree from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
