Nicolette Hoon

Nicolette Hoon is an experienced Intervention Specialist at Mentor Public Schools since July 2021, focused on supporting autism education at the Cardinal Autism Resource and Education School (CARES). Prior roles include serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cleveland State University, contributing to a journal article and a presentation at the American Educational Research Association conference, and providing child care and academic tutoring services from 2013 to 2021. Nicolette has also held positions as a Kid Healthy Recreation Attendant at Lake Health and as a Cleveland Teaching Fellow, engaging in practicum experiences in partnership with the Cleveland Foundation and local schools. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Foundations of Autism Spectrum Disorder, along with a Bachelor's degree in Moderate/Intensive Intervention Specialist from Cleveland State University.
