Paul L. Burroughs Jr.

Paul L. Burroughs Jr., is currently a Managing Director with Citigroup in its Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory Group. In 2020, he was promoted to become the Global Chief Operating Officer of Corporate Banking and also serves on the operating committee. In this role, he works alongside the Global Head to drive improvements in client planning, product marketing, talent strategy, resource management, organizational change and issue remediation within the Corporate Bank. Within the scope of his role, Paul leverages his risk management experience to address regulatory challenges and improve risk management processes throughout the organization.

Paul also has extensive experience as a Senior Banker, previously covering the Global Paper and Packaging and Diversified Industrials franchise. He supported global multi-national, Fortune 500 clients with originating new business focused on corporate finance products. His areas of expertise include capital raising, structured global solutions, and strategic advice. Paul also provided management oversight for all facets of the global relationship.
