James Oakes

James Oakes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program design and operational management within the educational and mentoring sectors. As Global Program Director at Mentors International since January 2023, James focuses on creating vocational mentoring programs for job seekers in 14 developing countries. Prior to this role, James served in various capacities at Elevate Global from September 2016 to February 2023, including VP of Operations and VP of Product & Marketing, where James managed international operations and developed impactful educational programs. James's background also includes leadership roles in social entrepreneurship initiatives, such as establishing Brigham Young University as a "Changemaker Campus" and mentoring young entrepreneurs. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Brigham Young University.
