Cassandra Wright

Senior Research Fellow at MENZIES SCHOOL OF HEALTH RESEARCH

Cassandra Wright is a seasoned researcher in the fields of public health, alcohol policy, and young people's health, currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at Menzies School of Health Research since September 2020 and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Alcohol Policy Research since November 2018. Cassandra has expertise in ecological momentary assessment and transdermal measurement methods, with a focus on enhancing knowledge translation for impactful research. Previous roles include a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Acting Head of the Young People's Health team at Burnet Institute, where Cassandra contributed to various projects aimed at understanding and improving young adults' health. Cassandra also has experience in academia, having taught health promotion and public health courses at Monash University while obtaining a PhD focused on reducing risky drinking in young adults.
