Amy Sparks

Amy Sparks is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in finance and management. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chair at Mercantile Bank since June 2022, Amy also operates as the Owner, President, and CEO of Nuvar, Inc., a leading supplier in the Finished Goods sector since June 2018. Amy previously held the position of President and CEO at SoundTech Inc. from 2007 to 2018, where responsibility for company operations and strategic direction was key. Prior experience includes role as Tax Manager at Plante & Moran, PLLC, specializing in tax planning for privately held corporations, and Finance Manager for the European Business Unit at Haworth. Amy holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BBA in Accounting from Grand Valley State University.
