Shannon Burdeu

Shannon Burdeu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance, legal, and tax matters across various sectors. Currently serving as Company Secretary at Mercer Australia and Vice Chair at Rights Information & Advocacy Centre Inc., Shannon has demonstrated a commitment to governance and access equity in the disability services sector. Previous roles include Head of Governance and Company Secretary at CareSuper, Executive Officer/Company Secretary at Community Bank Maldon & District, and Manager of Tax and Legal at Deloitte Australia. Shannon's earlier experience includes significant positions at KPMG, Moore Stephens, and the Chamber of Minerals and Energy in Western Australia. Academically, Shannon holds a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne, a dual degree in Law (Hons) and Economics from Victoria University, and a Law degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
