Varun Saxena is an experienced professional currently serving as a Severe Behavior Intern and Registered Behavior Technician at Marcus Autism Center since January 2023, focusing on applied behavior analysis within the Severe Behavior Team. In addition, Varun has been an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Emory University School of Medicine since January 2021, contributing to research on Partnered Dance Aerobic Exercise and its effects on Parkinson's disease and cognitive impairments. Varun also participated as a SURE Fellow in Dr. Madeleine Hackney’s Lab in partnership with the Atlanta Department of Veterans Affairs. Earlier roles include working as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District and as a Breast Cancer Research Summer Intern at OHSU Knight Cancer Institute. Varun is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Health and Economics at Emory University, expected to graduate in 2024, following a high school diploma from Jesuit High School Portland in 2020.
