Angelica Almonte

Angelica Almonte is currently an Associate at Mercury Public Affairs, having transitioned from a Public Affairs Intern within the same company. Almonte's experience includes a significant role as Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, where programming was coordinated for over 300 members. As Vice President of Girl Up, United Nations Foundation, Almonte was instrumental in founding a chapter in Lynbrook, NY, and spearheading innovative fundraising initiatives. Additional experience includes volunteer work on the Kathy Hochul for Governor campaign and community outreach internship with New York State Senator Todd Kaminsky. Almonte holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Miami, where education was complemented by studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a high school diploma from Lynbrook Senior High School.
