Violet Mbeca

Violet Mbeca is an experienced investment professional currently serving as the Investment Manager for RLP Africa at Mercy Corps since September 2024, where the key focus is on identifying partnerships within Market Systems Development. Previously, Violet contributed to financial inclusion for urban refugee-led organizations as an Investment Manager at INKOMOKO and developed a global credit policy for operations in multiple African countries. With a strong background in trade finance and SME banking, Violet served as a Relationship Manager at HFC Kenya and as a Portfolio Manager at both SBM Bank Kenya and Chase Bank Kenya Ltd, demonstrating expertise in business growth, customer relationships, and portfolio management. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategic Management from United States International University - Africa and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Moi University.
