Wendy Barron

Wendy Barron currently serves as Country Director for International Medical Corps since May 2023. Previously, Wendy held the position of Country Director at CARE International Iraq from June 2019 to November 2022 and served as Deputy Country Representative at The Asia Foundation from January 2016 to May 2019. Wendy's experience also includes a role as National Director for ChildFund Afghanistan between December 2013 and December 2016, and as Country Director for Mine Advisory Group (MAG) in early 2013. Prior to these roles, Wendy was an MBA student at the University of Otago and worked for Windle Trust International in various capacities including Country Director, Programme Manager, and English Language Teacher from January 2007 to April 2012. Wendy's career began with teaching English as a Second Language from May 2003 to March 2006. Wendy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Otago. Specialization areas include International Business Management and Corporate Social Responsibility.
