Chad Smith

Chad Smith, MD, FACOG, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Mercy since July 2017, and also holds the position of Medical Director at the Oklahoma State Department of Health since July 2014. Previously, Chad Smith was the Medical Director for Labor & Delivery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from July 2010 to June 2017, where responsibilities included developing a comprehensive patient safety program for perinatal services. In addition, Chad Smith has experience in general obstetrics and gynecology practice and has held the role of Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
