Mike Bleakley is currently the Chairman at Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union. Prior to that, they were a Financial Consultant at AXA Advisors from June 2009 to November 2009. There, they specialized in Retirement Planning for Teachers and gaining access to new schools while utilizing the bridge presentation to discover other opportunities to assist the client. Mike also successfully passed the Series 66 exam and Life & Health Insurance exams, and completed AXA University with a focus on ethics, product knowledge, and compliance.
From November 2009 to January 2014, Mike was the Property Manager & Accountant at Whispering Pines West HOA. There, they led a $1.2 million dollar business with 333 units, 15 team members, and a 7-member Board of Directors. Mike was responsible for all aspects of business operations including: human resources, financial statements and reports, collection of assessments, payment of associations obligations, budget preparation, reserve study, financial audit, contract and vendor negotiations and selection, annual insurance renewal and review, board meeting preparation, maintenance of Association records, management reports, project management and responding to and coordinating all resident needs and requirements.
Mike built the business from the ground up as the community went from off-site to on-site management. Mike was responsible for setting up the QuickBooks database, on-line banking, coupon book spreadsheet matrix, filing previous years' tax returns that were not filed and working with our attorneys to secure the community's FHA status. Mike Bleakley has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Colorado Denver in Political Science and Economics. Mike also has certification from Crestcom International in The Bullet Proof Manager.
