Dan Flo

Dan Flo is a seasoned professional in environmental consulting, currently serving as Principal Consultant and Power Sector Lead at Merjent since March 2020, specializing in Wind, Solar, and Electric Transmission projects. Prior to this role, Dan held various positions including Senior Environmental Consultant at Barr Engineering Co., Business Development Lead and Senior Regulatory Specialist at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, and Senior Consultant at Cardno ENTRIX. Dan also has experience as a Senior Environmental Specialist and Project Manager at Barr Engineering, and as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at Natural Resource Group, LLC. Dan's community involvement includes serving as District 2 Supervisor for the Hennepin Conservation District Board and as a Board Member on the Minneapolis Zoning Board of Adjustment. Dan's earlier career includes work as a Petrofund Analyst at the Minnesota Department of Commerce and as a Sergeant Intelligence Analyst in the Oregon Army National Guard. Dan holds a Juris Doctor degree in Environmental Law and Land Use from Lewis & Clark Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
