Mark Ward

Mark Ward is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive leadership experience in flight test operations. Currently serving as Vice President of Flight Test Operations at Merlin since April 2024, Mark oversees all aspects of flight testing, including policy development, goal setting, and activity organization, while ensuring compliance with regulations and managing program budgets. Prior to this role, Mark held significant positions at Wisk as Director of Flight Test and Operations and at Sikorsky, where responsibilities included Chief Pilot at the Sikorsky Stratford Flight Center and lead experimental test pilot for autonomy research. Mark's early career included a distinguished tenure as a Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard. Mark holds master's degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Quality Systems Management, along with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Norwich University.
