Brenden Schultek

Brenden Schultek is an experienced sales leader currently serving as the Vice President of Sales at Merz Therapeutics since June 2024, overseeing sales, commercial operations, and national accounts. In addition to this role, Brenden has been an Advisor and Mentor at First Flight Venture Center since March 2021, supporting the growth of entrepreneurial companies. Prior experience includes positions at BioXcel Therapeutics as VP of Strategic Growth and VP of US Commercial Sales, Vice President of Sales at Cara Therapeutics and Nabriva Therapeutics, and a Senior Consultant at Coeus Consulting Group. Brenden's career also includes leadership roles at QuVa Pharma, Durata Therapeutics, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and experience in various commercial and account management positions. Brenden holds a BS in Finance and International Business from Villanova University and has further educational experience from James Cook University.
